Implementation of budget schemes discussed

Jodhpur: Chief Secretary Usha Sharma chaired a meeting of officers during her Jodhpur visit on Saturday and reviewed the progress in implementation of budget schemes.

The meeting was held in the divisional commissioner’s office.
She directed all the collectors under Jodhpur division to ensure that the schemes and programmes of the state government are implemented successfully.

Usha Sharma also took feedback about Rajiv Gandhi rural and urban Olympic games, Annapurna food packet scheme, social pension scheme, Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee scheme among others.

Falodi, Balotra, and Sanchor have been made into new districts. Discussions were also held on how government schemes can be better implemented in these new districts by special officers. The agenda of this meeting did not include the boundaries and areas that will be included in these new districts.
