If tickets given to rebels, why deny to those who stood by govt: CM

New Delhi: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday said that when the tickets were given to those who rebelled against the government then why the tickets will be denied to those who stood by the government. Gehlot said in the CEC meeting held in New Delhi on Monday, according to sources.

Talking to the media after screening committee and CEC meetings, Gehlot attacked BJP and the Central Government regarding the ED raids. “ED raids are the political agenda of the BJP. If things continue like this, the BJP may have to pay for this,” he said.

On the ED notice to his son Vaibhav Gehlot, the CM said that the law will take its own course. “But what I want to say is that Vaibhav is being called in a 12-year-old case, which has already been closed,” he said.
