‘I wouldn’t have been the CM, if Abrar wasn’t there’

Sawai Madhopur: CM Gehlot was accorded a grand welcome at Chakchenpura airstrip by MLAs Danish Abrar, Ashok Bairwa, Indira Meena and Ramkesh Meena. During the Rural Olympic Games function organised at Police Line Ground, Gehlot addressed a public meeting. During his address, CM Gehlot praised Sawai Madhopur MLA Danish Abrar and said, “If Danish Abrar hadn’t been there, I wouldn’t have been the CM today. Danish Abrar had done all developments in time. My government was saved only after he provided all the information to us on time.” Gehlot also targeted the Centre saying that the Prime Minister and the Home Minister are continuously bringing down the governments of opposition parties in the country. An interesting incident occured during the event, when Apart from MLA Danish Abrar, no other MLA’s photo was seen at the venue and no MLA was accorded the respect. Anguished with this, Khandar MLA Ashok Bairwa left the stage in CM’s presence. On this, the district in-charge Minister Bhajan Lal Jatav pacified Bairwa and brought him back on the stage. During the programme, CM Gehlot witnessed a Kabaddi match and met the players.
