I-T raids continue at Anjana’s firm

Udaipur: The Income Tax Department’s action continued for the second day on Sunday on the Udaipur locations of Cooperative Minister Udailal Anjana in the Rajasthan government. Action is being taken at a firm and other places located in Fatehpura of the city. On Saturday, the department had taken action against the firm of the Minister.

According to information, Anjana’s firm is associated with construction of the National Highway. The company in question has an annual turnover of more than Rs 500 crore. Most of the people in this company are Anjana’s relatives. Dept officials are interrogating half-a-dozen officials associated with Anjana’s company. The team reached Anjana’s office in New Fatehpura near Sukhadia Circle of the city. Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasra attacked the Central government and said it was misusing constitutional institutions.
