‘I share strong bond with Gurjars as I am ‘Samdhan’ of this Samaj’

Jhalawar: Former CM Vasundhara Raje on Friday, said that even today there is not as much equality between men and women in the society as it should be.

She said that attention is paid to the education of boys in small villages but not that much on the education of girls. Raje said that along with the good initiatives like mass marriage programmes, people should also organise camps for girl child education so that the entire society can be educated.

Raje was speaking at the mass marriage programme of Gurjar and Goswami communities.
She said that when she came to Hadauti 3 decades ago, the condition was quite different.

The former CM said that in these decades, Jhalawar witnessed many major positive changes.
She said that there was a time when the people of this place had to go to Kota for treatment, but today there is a medical college here.

“Today there are many irrigation projects for the farmers who have been yearning for irrigation for years. There are big institutions for education and adequate infrastructure is there. This is the result of our team,” she said.

Former CM said that she had to attend this programme of Gurjar Samaj. She said that she can’t be separated from the Gurjar Samaj. “We are bound with each other by a strong thread because I am the ‘Samdhan’ of this Samaj,” she said. Raje said that she takes all communities along with her. “Our PM’s mantra is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. We are moving forward with this in mind,” she said.
