I HAVE DEVOTED 42 YEARS TO JODHPUR’S DEVELOPMENT: CM
Jodhpur: CM Ashok Gehlot visited a mega exhibition organised by the Forest Department at Padma Shri Kailash Sankhla Memorial Forest under the 73rd State Level Forest Festival. During this, the Chief Minister discussed the forest development and observed the information displayed with the officials of the Forest Department and District Administration.
On the second day of his tour, CM attended the programme at Sankhla Smriti Van & participated in the state-level Van Mahotsav programme and tree plantation programme. CM also laid the foundation stone of Luv Kush Vatika. Addressing the gathering, he said “ Project worth Rs 20 cr was announced in Budget. The then PM Indira Gandhi called Padma Shri Kailash Sankhla based on his merit and gave him many responsibilities. He was identified as Tiger Saviour. The project of Padma Shri Kailash Sankhla Smriti Van will be important for tourism.” CM Gehlot will tour the Rajsamand district today
