Sirohi: A woman was on her way from the hospital to Railway Colony in Sirohi district when her husband suddenly assaulted her with an axe. The woman sustained injuries to her head, shoulders, and other areas. She was admitted to a government hospital. There is a schism between the woman and her husband, which has resulted in the couple living apart for almost 7 years.

He chased her till he reached the train station’s overbridge and suddenly hit her. The injured woman is a doctor who works at a private hospital in Gujarat. Dr. Lajwanti Mahawar had already filed dowry harassment and assault charges against her husband. Chandra Prakash, her husband, threatened her in Abu Road court last Wednesday.A report has been lodged in the GRP police station regarding the matter.
