Hindu symbol in ‘Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra’ situated near Dargah
Ajmer: Even as Gyanvapi dispute is hanging fire, a similar issue has come up in Rajasthan. A post by Rajvardhan Singh Parmar on the Facebook page named ‘Maharana Pratap Sena’ has created a big uproar on social media.
In his post, Parmar has claimed that there is a ‘Shivling’ under the famous mausoleum of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti here. However, the picture shared with the post, in which the swastika mark is visible, is not of the building of the Dargah complex.
According to sources, in the report submitted to the government after the investigation done by the CID in this whole matter, this picture has been described as that of “Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra” located some distance away, and not of the Dargah.
Reacting sharply to the claim, Khadims’ body Anjuman Committee has outrightly rejected it. In a statement, Committee chief Moin Sarkar and Secretary Wahid Angara said, “The viral photo has nothing to do with Dargah. But the government will now have to take a decision on this claim.” After the development, ADM (City) Bhawna Garg, ASP Vaibhav Sharma visited the Dargah as a precaution.
