Hectic lobbying in SGST to get posting in important branches

Jaipur: With the presentation of Vote on Account in the State Commercial Tax Department-SGST and the lifting of the ban on transfers by the State Government, the push for transfers is in full swing.

The eligible aspirants have put in all their strength for the Enforcement or Audit branches, which are considered prime positions in the department, to reach the post of Deputy Commissioner in the Administration. It is considered important in the department, not only the existing ones but also the officers who became Deputy Commissioners after getting promotions, have tried their level best to reach the post of Deputy Commissioner of Administration.

According to information received from reliable sources, two Deputy Commissioners working in the Enforcement Branch of the department have shown great interest in the transfers. It is also bein speculated that one of these Deputy Commissioners is quite experienced in working for years in various posts in the Anti-Evasion Branch of the State Commercial Tax department.
