Head constable in ACB net for taking Rs 5K bribe in Churu

Sikar: The Churu ACB team arrested the outpost incharge while taking a bribe of Rs 5,000 on Monday. Churu ACB said that the complainant told bureau office on June 23 that a case of assault was registered at Kotwali Fatehpur police station, which is being investigated by Head Constable Shabbir Khan, who sought Rs 15,000 for weakening the file. He agreed to take Rs 10,000 but was arrested while taking rest of the amount.

The team that took action included CI Mahendra Kumar, ASI Girdhari Singh, Constables Rajpal Singh, Rakesh, Shravan Kumar, Ritendra, Basant Pramod Poonia and Himmat Singh.
