HC judge bats for Rajasthani language

Jodhpur: Dr Pushpendra Singh Bhati, Judge of Rajasthan HC addressed a gathering on the topic titled ‘Importance of native language in primary education’ on World Mother Language Day.

He said Rajasthani language deserves constitutional recognition, it should get a place in the 8th schedule of the constitution.

He was invited as a chief guest at the joint aegis of the Maharaja Mansingh Pustak Prakash Research Center, Mehrangarh, Baba Ramdev Shodhpeeth, Rajasthani Department of Jaynarayan Vyas University and INTACH Jodhpur Chapter. 

Given the glorious history of the Rajasthani language, literature and culture, the Rajasthani language must get constitutional recognition. (Rajiv Gaur)
