Guv Mishra urges to create new agri & tech courses to captivate students

Udaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra on Wednesday emphasized that convocation is not the end but the commencement of a new educational journey, shaping students with a fresh human perspective. Speaking at the 17th convocation ceremony at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology in Udaipur, Mishra hailed Maharana Pratap as the nation’s first freedom fighter and stressed the significance of upholding the ruler’s legacy.

In alignment with the new education policy, the Governor urged for the creation of courses in agriculture and technology that captivate students’ interest in farming. Mishra proposed the establishment of more start-up incubation, and technology under higher education.

During the ceremony, 42 students were awarded gold medals, and 864 graduates, 21 post-graduates, and 74 Vidya-Vachspati students were given degrees.
