Guv Mishra inaugurates Constitution Park at Maharaja Ganga Singh University in Bikaner

Bikaner: Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra, on Sunday, inaugurated the Constitution Park at Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. In his address, Mishra said that the event is a unique festival in nation building. Mishra also inaugurated Oxygen Park and laid the foundation stone of Solar Parking on this occasion. He said that the basic objective of the Constitution Park is to connect the new generation with the constitution. “They should be aware that the constitution has given us rights, but there are also duties attached to it. The principles of liberty, equality and fraternity have been emphasized in the Constitution,” he said.
 

He said that the youths must be conscious of the environment and its protection. “Intensive plantation not only increases oxygen but also decreases the temperature of the atmosphere. Trees should be planted and protected. Every person should plant at least one tree during the rainy season,” he said. He appreciated the university for developing a solar park and Oxygen Park has also been made. Union Minister of State for Art, Culture and Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal said that countless freedom fighters were martyred in the freedom struggle and people must know them. He appreciated the portraits of 75 freedom fighters made by the students.
