Governor to return to Jaipur today

Mount Abu: Governor Kalraj Mishra has instructed officers to take effective action to restore the “Champa cave”, the witness of Swami Vivekananda’s visit to Abu.

He also asked the officers to make Abu an ‘eco-friendly’ tourist destination and to make the golf ground free from encroachment.

Mishra also suggested keeping ‘garbage collection bags’ in the vehicles coming to Mount Abu so that the Mount can be kept clean and beautiful as well as pollution free.

Mishra instructed the officers to submit the action plan within seven days and send the fortnightly progress report of the works to his secretariat. He has also given instructions to ensure immediate necessary action regarding the memorandums presented by those who met him during his stay in Mount Abu and various subjects brought to his notice.

Governor Kalraj Mishra will leave for Jaipur from Mount Abu on Thursday. Mishra will leave from Mt Abu Raj Bhavan by road at 11:45 am to reach Abu Road railway station to take train to Jaipur at 1:00PM.
