Girls outshine boys again in RBSE Class 5 & 8 results

Udaipur: Results of class V& VIII of Rajasthan board exams were declared on Wednesday. Education Minister Dr BD Kalla released result by pressing the button on laptop in Udaipur. Later, result was uploaded on website.

Girls have outperformed boys in both classes. A total of 12.63 lakh candidates appeared in class 8, of which 6.72 lakh were boys and 5.91 lakh were girls. The school’s result for the class 8 examination was 95.59 per cent, in which result of girls was 96.30 percent while for boys it was 94.97 percent. Overall, 14.53 lakh children appeared in class 5, in which 7.6 lakh boys & 6.8 lakh girls appeared. Overall result of class 5 was 93.83 percent where girls got 94.06, boys stood at 93.62 percent.
