Girl killed by slitting throat in Bhilwara, 2 accused held

Bhilwara: An 18-year-old girl was murdered by slitting her throat with a sharp-edged weapon in Bhilwara district on Thursday, police said. Two persons have been detained in connection to case and are being interrogated, police said.

According to police, the girl was found dead in a room in Barsani village when the other members were asleep. Police said that the body has been kept in the hospital mortuary for post-mortem. The family members and relatives of the girl held demonstration and demanded a govt job for a family member and compensation of Rs 30 lakh. Officials including Sandeep Khedad held rounds of talks to resolve matter.
