Girl gangraped in Jodhpur, 3 arrested

Jodhpur: A minor girl who had run away from Ajmer with her boyfriend was gangraped here. The couple was searching for a hotel near the bus stand on Saturday night but couldn’t find a room as they didn’t have any identification card. They were wandering on the streets when three youths offered help and then held the boy hostage and gangraped the girl at the Jai Narayan Vyas University hockey ground.

Upon receiving information, police identified and arrested three suspects within four hours with CCTV footage’s help.
DCP (East) Amrita Duhan said the police took immediate action and apprehended all the culprits.

Those arrested have been identified as Samandar Singh, Bhattam Singh and Dharampal Singh. All the three accused had come to campaign in support of the student leader, Lokendra Singh. Lokendra Singh is contesting for a ticket from ABVP.
