Gaur stresses on active & modern policing in Jodhpur

Jodhpur: Commissioner of Jodhpur Police Ravi Dutt Gaur has issued a slew of directions to police officials in order to ensure better law and order situation in Jodhpur. Gaur has directed the police staff to mandatorily keep a stick with them while they perform their duty Similarly, directions were given to senior officials to always keep a pistol with them, if they have been allotted a pistol. Gaur recently inspected the checkpoints and police stations in Jodhpur, during which he gave necessary directions to police officials. During his inspection, he visited the Jalori Gate area and instructed constables to always keep a stick with them.

Commissioner Ravi Dutt Gaur also inspected a police station and directed the SHO and his subordinate staff to patrol the area during evening hours as the markets are rushed during that time. Gaur also directed officials to install more CCTV cameras in the area through public participation. This will help to identify the miscreants early. Jodhpur has recently witnessed communal clashes.
