Gangster Atiq Ahmed's aide arrested in Ajmer
Ajmer: A henchman of notorious gangster Atiq Ahmed was arrested from Ajmer. The UP STF team arrested historysheeter Mohammad Javed alias Pappu Ganjia on Monday. Javed was hiding in the dargah area for the last one and a half month. He was trying to escape to Goa, said an official.
Javed was an active member of Atiq’s gang IS-227. The UP police had kept a reward of Rs 50,000 on him. The accused was involved in nearly two dozen cases including extortion in Naini. The wanted Uttar Pradesh STF team arrested him and left for Prayagraj.
