Foy Sagar Lake: Devnani inspects filtration plant

Ajmer: Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani took a significant step towards the permanent solution of the city’s oldest water supply problem, inspecting the filtration plant at Foy Sagar Lake, while reviving the old proposal for water supply on Thursday. He inspected the plant with the officials of the Water Supply Department and also witnessed the entire process.

Devnani said that before Bisalpur Dam, the city got water from the lake, but the Congress government did not take positive steps in this direction. He said that the department officials have been directed to provide information about the scheme by February 10, after which, the city residents will get additional 3 MLD water daily.
