Four new power generation units to be established in Jhalawar-Baran
Kota: If everything goes on well then the electricity shortage in Rajasthan will end soon. It is hoped that soon the state will become self-reliant in power generation and supply.
The energy department had asked 1000 megawatts of electricity from the Centre for uninterrupted supply of electricity to farmers till March. Green signal has been given for setting up four new generation units in Jhalawar-Baran to increase the power generation. The energy minister claimed that the previous Congress government had borrowed 1000 Mws through banking, which has been repaid.
