Four killed, 28 injured as bus collides with trailer

Nagaur: Four passengers were killed and 28 got injured when a private bus and trailer collided on the main road of Amarpura village, four kilometres from Nagaur on Sunday. Of the injured, four have been referred to hospital in Jodhpur.

On receiving information, police from Sadar, Kotwali and Surpaliya police stations reached the spot.

The injured were evacuated from the bus with the help of local people and taken to JLN Hospital. The private bus was going towards Nagaur and the trailer was coming towards Khairaat when the two collided. Mangilal (50), Sahdev (25), Hussain (41) and Ramzan (22) died in the accident.

The bodies have been kept in the mortuary of JLN Hospital. As per the instructions of Jodhpur District Collector, Additional District Collector (City I) reached Champalal Hospital and inquired about the wellbeing of the injured.
