Farmers facing problem of electricity & water: Chandna

Bundi: Sports Minister Ashok Chandna, on Friday, sat on strike against his own government for failing to provide relief to the farmers struggling with water problems for electricity and irrigation in Bundi district. Chandna alleged that the Distribution Panel (DP) was made available to the farmers while the farmers of Hindauli Nainwan are still struggling with the problem of electricity and water as they have not received DP yet.

Ashok Chandna held a public hearing with the farmers of Hindoli Nainwa area in the District Collectorate Auditorium on Friday where the farmers informed him about their problems. Chandna sought answers from the officers regarding the problems of the farmers, but the officials could not answer.

In view of the dharna, Jaipur Discom administration sent a consignment of 87 transformers to Bundi district. 47 transformers of 16 KVA single phase and 40 transformers of 10 KVA single phase were sent.
