Family members refuse postmortem of leopard victim in Udpr’s Gogunda
Gogunda (Udaipur): Family member of a woman killed by a leopard in Madar village of Gogunda area in Udaipur district on Wednesday staged a protest outside the MB Hospital in Udaipur on Wednesday. The people demanded compensation of Rs 20 lakh and to kill the leopard.
It is to be mentioned that the leopard had attacked two women working in the fields in Madar village, of which one woman died undergoing treatment. The forest department said that it will give Rs 5 lakh as compensation as prescribed. Meanwhile, the leopard on Thursday killed two goats in a jungle near Parmaron ka Kheda Fala of Madri in Ogana police station area of Gogunda. Villager Ganpat Singh Rajput said that Anita along with others had gone to graze her cows and goats.
