Ex-MLA Awana, associate booked in land fraud case in Bharatpur

Bharatpur: A case of fraud related to grabbing of land has been registered against former Nadbai MLA Jogendra Singh Awana and his associate. The victim, Rahul Veer Gurjar, has registered the case with the police in under sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 and 120B.

Gurjar said that the land was sold in the name of Awana and his associate Neeraj Lohia in Mega Highway Ucchain and the amount of over Rs 9 lakh has not been paid till date. The victim alleged that a case was registered earlier also, but at that time, under pressure from the Ex-MLA, police did not take any action. Later, the victim, who is a resident of Khohra in Bayana got the case registered through court.
