Sawai Madhopur/Tonk: Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Friday accused Chief minister Ashok Gehlot of creating a fake issue in the name of Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP). He once again challenged the CM to have an open debate with him on the ERCP issue. The minister was talking to reporters during his Sawai Madhopur and Tonk visits today.

Shekhawat accused Gehlot of spreading misinformation about the ERCP, asserting that the Chief Minister and his team were creating a false narrative around the project He alleged that Gehlot was engaging in politics on ERCP rather than addressing the concerns of the people in East Rajasthan. The minister said that the Chief Minister’s actions were not only misleading but also detrimental to the people of the region.
