Election Department to hold events on 13th National Voters’ Day today

Jaipur: A state-level function will be organized by the Election Department Rajasthan on the 13th National Voters’ Day today at the Harishchandra Mathur Institute of Public Administration. Governor Kalraj Mishra will be the chief guest of the programme and Chief Secretary Usha Sharma will be the special guest.

Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that the programme will be organized on the theme of National Voters’ Day. State election icons will also be present. National Voters’ Day will be organized in all the districts of the state. Gupta said that during the revision programme, names of about 20 lakh new voters have been added in all the 200 assembly constituencies of the State. A voter awareness exhibition will be organized at the function, where the journey of elections from independence until now will be shown.
