Education to go digital with 750 smart TVs in Bikaner

Bikaner: Looking at the lack of teachers in govt schools in Bikaner, smart TVs have been arranged to teach children in these schools. Education Minister B D Kalla distributed these TVs to school teachers. For this 43 donors have purchased 750 TVs at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore and made them available to the education department. This is the first time that such a large number of smart TVs are being distributed by the state govt with the help of donors. All 750 Smart TVs are being provided to the govt schools having a single teacher. Under the ‘Digital Initiative for Quality Education-Shiksha Ke Badhte Kadam Ki’ campaign, the donors of Bikaner were motivated by BD Kalla and Disaster Relief Minister Govindram Meghwal. Kalla said that during the corona pandemic, offline classes were disrupted and online classes proved to be beneficial. The state govt has created history by providing online education.
