Edu dept clerk arrested taking RS 18,000 bribe

Bharatpur: ACB on Thursday arrested an Upper Division Clerk (UDC) in Bharatpur for allegedly demanding a bribe of Rs 18,000. UDC Virendra Kumar Shukla, posted in the office of joint director of education department, had demanded a bribe of Rs 21000 from the complainant to include his name in the list. The accused has already taken Rs 3000 and he was caught red-handed while taking the remaining amount Rs 18000 from the complainant.
