ED seizes documents, Rs 24L from Khodaniya & others in paper leak

Dungarpur: The ED has got hold of evidence related to paper leak and also recovered cash worth Rs 24 lakh from the raids on the premises of Dinesh Khodaniya, Spardha Chaudhary, and Ashok Jain in paper leak case. During the search operations, various incriminating documents, copies of sale deeds of various properties, electronic devices were also recovered and seized.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Dinesh Khodaniya on Saturday said that the action was politically motivated. He also said that he is soon going to file a defamation case against Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena for levelling false allegations. He said that he doesn’t have links with the arrested RPSC member Babulal Katara.

“Agencies like ED and Income Tax are being misused by BJP to put pressure on Congress Party and its leaders. If any evidence was found against him, then why did ED not take action earlier? The action taken just before the assembly elections,” he said.
