ED may probe Apeksha group chit fund scam

Kota: The ED may probe the Apeksha group chit fund scam in Kota. In view of the seriousness of the matter, Kota City SP Kesar Singh Shekhawat had already formed an SIT to investigate the matter. Under the leadership of Deputy SP Amarsingh Rathore, the SIT probing the scam got a big success on Saturday after investment of about 200 crore and Rs 125 crore cash transactions were unearthed.

Cloth traders in Kota city had filed nine cases against Cloth Market Association Tejendra Pal and his partner Rajendra Gupta. Both have been sent to judicial custody after their arrest on Saturday in the fraud case registered at Borkheda police station.

The SIT had arrested Chief Advisor of the Group CA Himanshu Vijay and four directors Girraj Nayak, Yogesh Kulshrestha, Sanjay Kashyap and Durgashankar Marotha. There is a prize money on kingpin Murali Manohar Namdev. The details of the group’s case number-4 have been shared with the ED.

The Group has made hundreds of investors on the pretext of multifold profits. SP Shekhawat had suspended Gumanpura CI Lakhan Meena and ASI Rehana for complicity in the case and formed an SIT. After preliminary investigation, the SIT had frozen the accounts of the company.

According to information, many big officers have also got crores of money.
