Economic condition of farmers is bad in country, reiterates Pilot

Nagaur: Former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot attended the Kisan Sammelan organized at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Stadium in Parbatsar on Monday and addressed the Kisan Sabha. Pilot is organizing Kisan Sammelans in five districts of the state. He said that a few days ago, MLA Ramnivas Gavadia met him and told about holding a farmer’s conference, so he decided to hold a farmer’s conference.

“There are serious questions in front of the country and the state regarding the farmers. Our population is based on agriculture but the economic condition of the farmers is very bad. The central govt has not done anything for the farmers in seven years. The debt in the name of the public in the country was Rs 56 lakh crore and now it has reached Rs 150 lakh crore,” Pilot said.He also said that the govt should catch the kingpin instead of those who take petty commissions for leaking papers.
