‘Each Assembly constituency to have a library worth Rs 1 cr’
Bikaner: Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal laid the foundation stone for the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Library and Auditorium in Bikaner. He announced that similar libraries would be built in each assembly constituency with a Rs 1 crore budget, based on a request from Cabinet Minister Sumit Godara.
In his address, Meghwal highlighted the teachings of Dr Ambedkar & Guru Nanak on education and unity. The 1,022-seat library & auditorium will also house a museum and knowledge centre, with construction led by Padma Vibhushan awardee Hafeez Contractor.
