Dy director of agri marketing in ACB net with Rs 1L bribe in H’garh

Hanumangarh: The ACB arrested Subhash Saharan Regional Deputy Director Agriculture Marketing Department Hanumangarh for taking a bribe of Rs one lakh on Friday. ACB ADG Hemant Priyadarshy (Additional Charge Director General) said that a complaint was given to ACB’s Hanumangarh unit by complainant that Saharan in lieu of sending the letter to the District Industry Centre Hanumangarh after reporting on the exemption received from the Agriculture Marketing Dept demanded Rs 2 lakh bribe amount.

After verifying the complaint, a trap was laid and Subhash Saharan was arrested for taking a bribe of Rs 1 lakh from the complainant. Under the direction of IG ACB Sawai Singh Godara, the accused was being interrogated and searches were conducted at his premises.
