Dy CM orders action against officials for poor road quality

Udaipur/Rajsamand: Deputy CM Diya Kumari is serious about the quality of roads in the state and is continuously ensuring that there is no negligence in construction works. On Friday, Diya Kumari visited Nathdwara, and before attending the statelevel Women’s Conference in Udaipur on Saturday, she conducted a surprise inspection of roads. Accompanying her were Kumbhalgarh MLA Surendra Rathore, ADM Raksha Parik, PWD Addl Chief Engineer Ashok Kumar Sharma, Superintending Engineer Magni Ram Raigar, and others.

The Deputy CM inspected the Gunjol-Kucholi road in Nathdwara sub-division area and expressed strong dissatisfaction with the substandard construction work, reprimanding the officials. At the site in front of the Govt Girls’ Senior Secondary School in Kucholi, the Deputy CM called for the Udaipur XEN Quality Control office’s testing machine and checked the road’s quality on the spot.

Due to deficiencies found in road, she ordered the APO of Junior Engineer Jitesh Vyas and Assistant Engineer Namit Mishra. Additionally, she directed the issuance of a 17CC notice to Executive Engineer Bhanuprakash Mathur.
