Double murder triggers political row in Kuchaman

Kuchaman City: Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore on Wednesday reached Kuchaman City and extended his support to the ongoing protest over the killing of two youths, who were crushed to death near Ranasar village of Didwana district.

Rathore met the family members and inquired about the incident.” The family members of the deceased are staging a protest outside Kuchaman Police Station demanding a CBI investigation into the matter.

Former CM Vasundhara Raje tweeted, “What can be a bigger example of Rajasthan’s poor legal system that our state has reached the second place in the cases of Dalit atrocities in the country today. There should be an impartial investigation in the case of killing two Dalit youths and injuring a person in Ranasar village. The culprits should be punished.”
