Doctors should call off strike as RTH Act is in public interest: Min

Sikar: Industries minister Shakuntala Rawat on Monday said that the BJP-led central government has done wrong to Rahul Gandhi and the whole country is watching this. Talking to reporters after holding a meeting of the party workers in Sikar, the minister in charge of the district said that the entire country is watching what is happening with Rahul Gandhi.

On the agitation of private doctors against the Right to Health Bill passed by the state assembly, Rawat said that the bill is in the interest of the people and doctors should call off their strike.

“If doctors have any issues, then it can be resolved through dialogues. They should call off their strike because the bill is in the public interest”, Rawat added.

Speaking on independent MLA Sanyam Lodha’s viral video, the minister said that Lodha’s statement is not against God. She said, “Lodha is a devotee of Lord Ram and Ram belongs to everyone and we all worship Ram.”
