Divya sent to three-day police remand

Ajmer: Suspended Additional Superintendent of Police (AdSP) Divya Mittal was produced before a court on Sunday, after which she was sent on a three-day police remand. Divya Mittal, who is facing charges of corruption to the tune of Rs 2 crore, was produced before judge Gaurav Garwa at his residence and thereafter sent on police remand till April 4.

Additional SP Kamal Singh Tanwar informed that Divya Mittal will be taken to Jaipur for interrogation. “Divya Mittal has been arrested under the provisions of the NDPS Act for doing a shoddy investigation in three cases of NDPS. A fiveday remand was sought, but the court granted three days of police remand,” said Kamal Singh Tanwar.
