District Collectors, SPs need to work in unison to maintain law& order in dists: CS

Bikaner: chief Secretary Usha Sharma reviewed the law and order situation in the assembly level meeting held at Collectorate Auditorium, Bikaner on Sunday. Sharma said that the District Collector and SPs should work with better coordination to maintain law and order in the districts. She said that in view of the assembly elections, the next six months are very important for the state and monitoring is important.

After any incident, action should be taken soon. DGP Umesh Mishra was also present. CS said that conducting fair & fearfree polls is priority of administration. “For this, 100% compliance of instructions of ECI should be ensured. Harmony should be ensured and strict action should be taken against those trying to disrupt it . Extra vigilance should be exercised in border areas,” she said.
