Dhariwal lays foundation stone for Rampura Satellite Hosp’s renovation

Kota: Kota’s Rampura Satellite Hospital will undergo renovation. Urban Development and Self-Governance Minister Shanti Dhariwal laid the foundation stone on Saturday after offering prayers. The renovation of parking, OPD block, administration block and wards at the hospital would be done at a cost of Rs 17 crore.

Dhariwal gave instructions to the City Development Trust to complete this project in six months. He said that the Rajasthan government is working with extreme sensitivity to provide better medical facilities to its people by expanding medical facilities worth more than Rs 193 crore in Kota and increasing its resources.

On this occasion, Congress leader Amit Dhariwal, Mayor Manju Mehra, Deputy Mayor Sonu Qureshi, Zafar Mohammad, Medical College Principal Dr Vijay Sardana Hospital Superintendent RK Singh, Special Officer of City Development Trust RD Meena were present.

Dhariwal also attended the convention of West Central Railway Labour Union in Kota as its chief guest. Office bearers of the trade union welcomed the Minister. Congress leader Amit Dhariwal was also present.

Dhariwal, while addressing the convention, said that there is a need to intensify the struggle for privatisation of railways.

The trade union has been fighting for the interests of railway employees. Congress will stand with the labourers against privatization,” the Minister said. Demanding implementation of the Old Pension Scheme across the country, he called upon the labour union to organise a nationwide agitation.
