Devnani plans paperless Assembly
Bikaner: Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani in an exclusive conversation with Resident Editor Laxman Raghav at Bikaner said, “The roots of democracy in India are deep.” He pointed out some leaders speak out of ignorance without reading the Constitution thoroughly. He added, even during the Emergency, the attempts were unsuccessful.” In a way, he targeted Rahul Gandhi without naming him. Regarding Hanuman Beniwal’s allegations, he said, there is no need to take him seriously. He said, “Their numbers in the House are now zero, and they say anything.”
He also said, “Innovation is my habit, and will make the Assembly paperless. “An additional iPad will also be given to each legislator.” The colour of the carpet in the Assembly is also being changed to pink, he added. Additionally, work is underway to start a club with innovations in the Assembly Museum. He was welcomed at Lotus Dairy, where CMD Ashok Modi and MD Avinash Modi greeted him. BJP leader Satyaprakash Acharya was also present, & SP Kavendra Sagar also met him.
