Demand for national project status for ERCP

Karauli: Women from 13 districts of Eastern Rajasthan attended a Mahila Mahakumbh in Nadauti’s Kaimri village to demand national project status to the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project. The Mahakumbh was organised by ERCP Kisan Vikas Samiti’s state president Ramniwas Meena and chief convener Ravindra Meena.

Interestingly, only women were involved in the speakers on the stage and management of the program and those who attended the programme were women. Thousands of women gathered in the Mahila Mahakumbh took a pledge that participation in governance is also necessary to fulfil the demand of ERCP and resolved to send Ramnivas Meena to Vidhansabha for this.
