Defence Standing Committee inspects Pokhran firing range

Pokhran: A delegation of 22 members of the Standing Committee on Defence on Sunday visited the Pokhran Field Firing Range and sought information on various security issues.

The delegation also interacted with army personnel and inspected the highly sophisticated weapon used in combat situations. They also reviewed the existing infrastructure at the firing range. development at the range to adapt to the future requirements of training by the Indian Army.

The delegation will also visit Jaisalmer on January 9 where they will be briefed by Army Commander of Southern Command (Pune) Lt. General AK Singh.
