Dalit minor boy hung upside down, beaten with hot iron rods

Barmer: A 14-year-old minor dalit boy was brutally beaten by his neighbours in Barmer district. The accused had not only beaten up the minor with hot iron rods by hanging him upside down with the ceiling fan but also poured petrol on his private parts. Incident has been reported from Baitu police station area in Barmer.

The minor is accused of molesting a girl in the accused’s family. Till the last report, police detained one person while victim was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Police said that since past two three month the victim boy was volunteerly working at his neighbours. On Thursday late evening, the accused called him at his home and later in a locked room hung him upside down with a ceiling fan, brutally beat with hot iron rods and poured petrol on his private parts. Victim pleading for death. “Kill me but don’t punish me like this.”
