Dalit man murder: Bandh in Barmer, Jodh as people protest ‘action’ on cops

Barmer: Protesting against the action on policemen, more than a dozen towns observed a day bandh in two bordering districts Barmer and Jaisalmer. During the bandh market remained closed and at many places people burned effigies of the chief minister to mark their protest. They are demanding to revoke the action on policemen.

On the other hand, ‘sarv samaj’ has called ‘mahapadav’ on Monday outside the district collector office in Barmer.
At many places including Shiv, Bhiyand, Pokhran people have carried out March past and given memorandum to the authorities demanding to revoke the action on policemen.

It mentioned here that in Barmer dalit man assault and murder case, action had been taken against two policemenfor ignoring prompt action on the complaints lodged by the deceased.
Digant Anand, superintendent of police in Barmer confirmed the action on policemen.
