CP Joshi, Malviya, Anjana lay foundation stone in Rajsamand

Rajsamand: The State Government’s Water Resources Department has given a gift to the Nathdwara assembly constituency of Rajsamand district on Saturday.

Water Resources Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malviya, Cooperative Minister Udailal Anjana, and Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi, who were on a tour of Rajsamand district, donated Rs 26 crore and laid the foundation stone and did bhoomi pujan for various schemes of the Irrigation Department.

Malviya unveiled 18 stone plaques at a function organised at Sanga Ka Kheda village of Namana Panchayat. Addressing the ceremony, he said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced 100 anicuts in the last budget. “Today along with Namana anicuts, renovation of various ponds, strengthening of canals and works of the irrigation department will start,” he said.
