Court official booked in Sri Ganganagar for embezzling Rs 1cr

Sri Ganganagar: A court official has been booked by police in Raisinghnagar town of Sri Ganganagar district for allegedly embezzlement of money to a tune of Rs. 1 crore. Police informed the court official (Najir), identified as Manohar Lal Wadhwa, allegedly transferred Rs. 1 crore to his wife and other relatives account from the account meant for claims under Motor Vehicles Accident Claims Tribunal.

The FIR has been filed by court reader Ravi Singh. The matter came to light when the bank returned the check due to insufficient funds in the bank given to a complainant for the claim amount in the MACT case.
