Cops lathicharge on MLA, others in Alwar

Alwar: Police lathicharged workers, including BJP MLA Sanjay Sharma outside the main gate of the collectorate on Wednesday during a Janakrosh protest by the party. When BJP workers were trying to cross over the barricade in front of the Collectorate, police lathicharged them.

The STF lathicharged workers and media persons. Sharma was also thrashed with sticks. Sharma, MP Balaknath Yogi and other leaders sat on a dharna. Sharma said that they would leave the place only after the police apologised for the action.

BJP workers first held a meeting in Company Bagh. Taking action on the case of misbehavior with MLA Sanjay Sharma and media persons, SP Anand Sharma has written a letter to the ADG (Law and Order) to take action against the 4 constables.
