COP LANDS IN ACB NET FOR TAKING Rs 1L BRIBE

Sikar: The Sikar Unit of Anti Corruption Bureau, on Thursday, nabbed red handed a Sub-Inspector of Kotwali police station of Neem Ka Thana while accepting a bribe of one lakh rupees. The cop had demanded the bribe in lieu of not making him an accused in a case.

According to ACB sleuths, the arrested sub-inspector has been identified as one Subhash Chand. “A complaint was recently filed with ACB wherein the complainant informed that Subhash Chand had demanded a bribe of 1.50 lakh rupees for not making the complainant an accused in a case. Upon receiving the complaint, a bid to verify the same was initiated and after verification a trap was laid wherein the SI was nabbed on Thursday when he accepted one lakh rupees as bribe money,” officials said.
