Continuous suspension of MPs is bad signal for democracy: Pilot
Tonk: Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Wednesday said that continuous suspension of MPs demanding a reply on security lapse in Parliament is a bad signal for democracy. He said that MPs wanted a clarification on the sensitive issue and it is also their right to delve into depth of reality.
“It was a very sensitive issue. MPs wanted a clarification. And it is also the right of MPs to delve into the depth of reality. MPs were demanding answers & process of suspending them is going on continuously. This is a bad sign for democracy,” Pilot told reporters in Tonk.
In a one day tour of Tonk, Pilot received a warm welcome from Cong workers as he visited Sonwa, Arnia Mal, Sakhna, Ghas, and Kabra.
